1. What kind of AV equipment do you available for hire?
At Big Room Audio Visual we have a range of TV's, Audio Equipment, LED Screens, Camera & Video Switching equipment to suit all kinds of indoor & outdoor events. We also supply outdoor advertising products such as Mobile Billboard Trucks & Trailers, as well as both powered & solar LED signage solutions.
2. How much does it cost to hire AV equipment?
The cost will vary on the type of equipment and the hire period. We are able to provide discounts for additional days and long term hires of our equipment. Your best bet is to get in touch by filling out our enquiry form in the contact us section, tell us about your event and we'll get in touch to provide the best solution.
3. Is delivery and setup included in the rental fee?
Delivery and setup costs will be charged as a standard rate for metro areas. Any additional travel will be outlined and quoted as a seperate cost.
4. How long can I rent the equipment for?
The Equipment can be rented as long or as short as you like. We provide discounts for consecutive days hire so speak to us about how long you require the equipment, and we can look after you.
5. Can I pick up and drop off the equipment myself?
The Equipment can picked up from our warehouse as a 'dry hire' or 'bare hire'. With some of the larger equipment such as TV's & we advise a van or small truck as the roadcases are quite large and heavy and will not fit in a standard vehicle. We will need proof or ID such as a drivers licence upon collection.
6. Are there any special requirements or technical knowledge needed to operate the equipment?
Most of the equipment is fairly straightforward to use with a basic understanding of AV equipment. We are able to offer training upon pickup of the equipment if you require.
7. What happens if the rented equipment is damaged or malfunctions during the rental period?
We are always on call to resolve any technical issues that may arise during a hire period. If there is equipment failure at an event we will do our best to drop off a replacement. If the equipment is damaged during a hire period you will be liable for costs related repair or replacement.
8. Can I rent equipment for outdoor events?
Yes, we have some great outdoor products such as mobile LED screens. These have been purpose built outdoor screens on trailer bases. These will suit most outdoor events as regular projection & LCD screens will not be visible during daylight hours.

10. Can I get a discount for renting multiple items at the same time?
We can provide disconuts for hire packages, either through consecutive days hire, or through larger volume bookings across different dates. Speak to us about package prices.
